The DKP system we are going to use is called EPGP.
In essence for the Raid Member it is a very simple system, you turn up for our raids and acquire EP points. If you are interested in an epic, you say need and the one with the highest PR rating gets the loot. The person that wins the loot goes down the pecking order and needs to build up his EP again in order to win his next loot.

Please download the mod, latest version is 5.0.1. This enables you to see the PR rating for everyone in the guild and it also adds the GP ratings to items in the tooltips.

It is expected that all members of the raid will pass gear to a class that the gear is better suited for. Melee DPS gear is not a priority for protection warriors so that gear should be passed to Rogues and DPS warriors. If no one that the gear is better suited for actually needs it will be open to anyone.
Players with an EP less then 60% of the highest EP value do not have priority on raid loot from a boss that is not on farm or an end level raid boss eg Archi and Illidan.
Items for offspecs
Pure classes such as Rogues, Hunters, Mages and Locks do not get offspec gear. Their job is to dps and thats it.
Hybrid classes who wants to go for offspec gear will pay 1/10th of the original value thats indicated on the tooltip.
The Decay System
The decay system is designed to be a gradual decay over time of your EP and GP points. This is to prevent DKP hoarding. Our current decay system will be 25%. Every 7 days your EP/GP points will decay 25% until each raw point is equal to .01 points.
With a decay of 25%, after each week the guild participates in, each member gets her EP and GP reduced by 25%. This eliminates EP (DKP) hoarding because of the use of the EP and GP decay. Only temporal EP and GP are accounted. So the later you "use" your PR lead, the least amount of benefit you get out of it. And the earliest you take an item, the faster its value will decay. Because of the decay, new members become equal under the system much faster. The only barrier to entry for new members is to pass their trial and socials.
New recruits
New recruits will be awarded the same EP and will be able to bid on items but if a raid member also bids the raid member will get priority. This rule only applys to initiates on their trial period.
